Another great tip that I picked up from a Jackie Chan interview actually is to watch TV and try to pick up on and exactly mimic the words, rhythm, pronunciation, and tone of the words the characters, actors, or anchors are speaking. I’ve tried to use mimicry as much as (realistically) possible. It also helps you have more fun with the language as you learn.
