A/V + ㄴ 덕분에/ N + 덕분에 is the opposite of A/V + ㄴ 탓에, and is used to show the positive effect of an action or state. It roughly translates to ‘thanks to A/V/N… that (positive thing) happened…’:
복권에 당첨된 덕분에 빚을 다 갚을 수 있었어요.
Because I won the lottery I was able to pay off all of my debts.
장학금 덕분에 좋은 외국 대학를 다녔어요.
I was able to study at a good foreign university thanks to a scholarship.
열심히 공부를 한 덕분에 TOPIK 시험에 합격했어요.
I passed my TOPIK exam because I studied hard.
늦은 생활비 덕분에 한국에서 돈을 많이 저출했어요.
Because of the low cost of living, I was able to save a lot of money in Korea.
